1. Alexander the Great

Alexander the Great was born in 356 BC in Pella, Greece. He was the son of King Philip II of Macedon and Queen Olympias. Alexander was a brilliant military strategist and leader. 2. Joan of Arc

Joan was a devout Catholic and believed that she had been chosen by God to lead the French army to victory against the English. In 1429, she convinced the Dauphin of France to give her command of the army. Joan led the French army to a number of victories, including the Battle of Orléans. However, she was eventually captured by the English and burned at the stake as a heretic.

Joan of Arc was a remarkable young woman. She was brave, courageous, and selfless. She inspired the French people to fight for their freedom and helped to turn the tide of the Hundred Years' War. Joan of Arc is a national hero in France and her story continues to inspire people all over the world.

3. Marie Curie

Marie Curie was born in 1867 in Warsaw, Poland. She was the daughter of a physics teacher. Marie was a brilliant student and she excelled in math and science. In 1891, she moved to Paris to study at the Sorbonne. In 1895, she married Pierre Curie, a fellow physicist. Together, they discovered radium and polonium. Marie Curie was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields.

Marie Curie was a pioneer in the field of radioactivity. Her work has had a profound impact on our understanding of the atom and the universe. She is considered one of the greatest scientists of all time.

4. Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born in 1879 in Ulm, Germany. He was the son of a featherbed salesman. Einstein was a brilliant student, but he did not do well in school. He was often bored and uninspired by his teachers. In 1895, he dropped out of high school and moved to Zurich, Switzerland. In 1905, Einstein published his theory of special relativity. This theory revolutionized our understanding of space and time. In 1915, he published his theory of general relativity. This theory is one of the most important scientific theories of all time.

Einstein was a brilliant physicist and one of the greatest minds of all time. His work has had a profound impact on our understanding of the universe. He is considered one of the greatest scientists of all time.

5. Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks was born in 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama. She was the daughter of a carpenter and a schoolteacher. Rosa Parks was a civil rights activist. In 1955, she refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man. This act of defiance helped to spark the Montgomery bus boycott, which led to the desegregation of buses in Montgomery, Alabama. Rosa Parks is considered one of the most important figures in the civil rights movement.

Rosa Parks was a brave and courageous woman. She stood up for what she believed in, even when it was unpopular. Her act of defiance helped to change the course of history.
