The Journey of Coffee
The journey of coffee begins with the coffee plant. Coffee plants are native to Ethiopia and grow best in warm, humid climates. The plants produce berries that contain the coffee beans. Once the berries are ripe, they are harvested and processed to remove the beans.
The beans are then roasted, which brings out their flavor and aroma. The roasting process can vary depending on the type of coffee desired. Lighter roasts have a more delicate flavor, while darker roasts have a bolder flavor.
Once the beans are roasted, they are ground and brewed. There are many different ways to brew coffee, including drip brewing, pour over brewing, and French press brewing. The brewing method will affect the flavor of the coffee.
Finally, the coffee is ready to be enjoyed. Coffee can be enjoyed black, with milk, or with sugar. It can also be used to make espresso drinks, such as lattes and cappuccinos.
